My girlfriend and I stumbled across Bens (but actually now now more often his son Rays) shop window and were immediately drawn in by the beautiful vintage filigree designs. Just picked up our engagement ring and definitely plan on working with Ray in the future

Ray gave me the old switch-a-roo. Showed me an awesome cut, color, clarity (no inclusions with 10x loupe) (yellow-brown), 1.16 carat diamond. For $900 cash with tax, and ring setting. Took the deal and next day came back to pay and get a receipt. Low and behold, diamond was under a carat, had a chip in the diamond (in the cut), and big fat inclusion (Black and White) with the naked eye. When I confronted Ray that this was not the diamond he showed me yesterday, he blamed it on another jewerler. The jewerler 'chipped' the diamond, they mess with the color, etc... Come on, diamond

I worked with Ben's son Ray, who I believe effectively runs the shop now. Ray is such a great dude. Really tries to understand what it is you're looking for. Patient with you as you try to figure it out yourself! I made a custom design engagement ring for my now fiancee and it came out great--she loves it! I brought in photos, sketches, etc...we were able to come up with something that was truly unique. Felt really good to make something special that my fiancee can now say no one else in the world has. I highly recommend working with Ray.

Ben's son Ray helped my husband and me today and he couldn't have been more helpful or delightful. He's a gentle, good spirited man who genuinely wants to help you find what's right for you. No pressure and no bull. Shopping was fun! He had a tray of lovely Rose Gold Retro rings which is what we were looking for as a Wedding Vows Renewal Ring for me. There was one ring that I really loved but it was a bit too small. He took the time to try and "stretch" it for me, without any commitment on my part. When he returned it fit perfectly.
