I was four years old and remember clearly the blackness of my grandpa's camera with its shiny glass lens as he took my picture. I knew that somehow it was connected to the photographs that hung on the walls of my grandparents' home. It would be seven more years before I'd pick up a camera and make pictures of my own to earn my Girl Scout photography badge during summer camp.
But it wasn't until I decided to specialize in newborns, infants and children that I felt I'd landed exactly where I belonged with my camera. Photography has changed in siginificant ways over the forty years I've been doing it: film has all but disappeared, printed photographs have taken a back seat to digital image files and computers are as indespensible to a photographer as cameras and lenses.

Infants and children are beautiful just the way they are and that's why I photograph them in a way that is clean, classic and timeless. My sessions are simple, efficient and relaxed. I use as few props as possible in order to create portraits that you'll continue to treasure for years and years to come.
Baby plan

My Baby Plan portrait program is designed to highlight the four major developmental milestones of baby's first year-propping, sitting, cruising and finishes with a first birthday portrait. Every baby is unique but the first three stages usually happen around three, six and nine months. Once all the sessions are complete I create your baby's panel using your favorite image from each session.
Watch me grow

I developed my Watch Me Grow program for those families whose babies had finished their Baby Plan portrait sessions and wished to continue receiving beautiful studio portraits through the toddler years. My Watch Me Grow program includes four portrait sessions that can be used at any time across the course of four years.
