Here at Barbati and Davies Chiropractic, we treat injuries to the neck and back, including sprain/strain, fractures, headaches and migraines, disc bulges and herniations. We also treat extremity injuries, such as shoulder injuries, sciatica, tingling and numbness in arms and legs, and carpal tunnel.

Upon entering the office you will be greeted by our friendly front desk staff in, most likely, your native language, as our staff speaks English, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Spanish, Russian and Cantonese. The front desk staff will then bring you into a private, comfortable treatment room where the chiropractic physician will speak with you one-on-one to listen to and address your individual needs and concerns.

The lumbar part of the spine provides a movable support structure for the back. Parts of the low back that can be related to pain in this region include the muscles found in the back region, bony vertebrae that make up the spine, discs between the vertebrae, and the spinal cord, ligaments, and nerves that are housed by the vertebrae.

Tension headaches are likely caused by tight muscles in your shoulders, neck, scalp, and jaw. They may be related to stress, depression, anxiety, a head injury, or poor posture. The pain, which tends to be dull or squeezing, is often found on both sides of the head, and is usually accompanied by shoulder(s), neck or jaw tightness or pain.
