Dan Geller established D. Geller & Son as a wholesale company that also sold to the public in 1939 on Broad Street in Downtown Atlanta. As a wholesale company, Dan sold to companies like Rich's, Zales, and over 350 independent family owned jewelry stores all over the Southeast. D. Geller & Son is one of the South's longest standing diamond and fine jewelry companies.
The Geller family represents 14 generations and over 1,100 years in the jewelry industry. Mike Geller took over the company in 1976 when his father passed. He became apprenticed as a jeweler at the age of 7 and began working full time at 14 years old. Formerly D. Geller, " Dan added "& Son" to the name when Mike asked for a raise in 1974.
