I live with my fantastic hubs, my two daughters, his two kiddos, a dog named Pickles, and a cat that hides a lot. It's a little bit chaotic, but I think that's actually how I work best. I like intensity, freedom, humor, and most of all LOVE. For over ten years I have been shooting weddings, families, newborns, and engagements (I photograph boudoir too, but that's showcased elsewhere).

My photographic style: I pride myself on capturing candid, authentic images that show people in their natural state. We are all sometimes beautiful, sometimes awkward, sometimes silly (but, ya know, I won't send you the super awkward photos!). Right as summer was winding down, my friend Jenn and I organized a weekend of art, nature, and play.

Yes, email me about custom packages and we can work out details! I have my package pricing here, but you are more than welcome to be in touch about your needs and photography dreams- I have made custom packages for MANY a client. A DECADE! It's shocking to me that it's been so long. I shot my first wedding when my youngest daughter was 6 weeks old and haven't put my camera down since.
Wild@heART, A Women’s Weekend on the Wisconsin River
Report
Right as summer was winding down, my friend Jenn and I organized a weekend of art, nature, and play for a group of women. We camped on a property in the woods, on the edge of the Wisconsin River. Late August sun beating down, crickets chirping, lightning strikes in the distance at night, goldenrod and black-eyed Susans slowly turning brown.
Another weirdo photo session with my hubs
Report
As some of you know, my brain is wired for play and goofiness. I love having quirky photoshoots with Neil (my husband) which are a little bit.different. The most recent photoshoot was all Neil's idea. Neil is funny, supportive, and equally as playful as I am (but a little more secretly). This shoot involved us rollerblading around the parking lot of Michaels Frozen Custard in Madison.
Social distancing engagement session at Yahara Park
Report
These 2 love birds live here in Madison, Wisconsin but are getting married next year on the east coast. We met up at Yahara park to take photos and I kept my distance. It was so nice to be outside taking photos again! Spring is my favorite time to take photos! Everyone is so happy to be back outside, the new green is my favorite color, and spring light has a special warmth that I love.
The sweetest newborn session taken back when we still left our...

If you're in need of a cuteness-overload distraction then you have come to the right place! This newborn session was so stinking adorable. The older daughter was so in love with "her baby" that she cried when her mama held the baby!

Here's the things I loveeeee about newborn sessions: the newness of the baby, the tenderness of the family, the very special quiet and tired energy that falls over a family (though its notably different when a toddler is around!).It just all feels very special and fleeting and I'm so honored to be allowed into a family's new tender, quiet, tired time.
