Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital is a general practice that is proud to serve the Berkshires in Massachusetts and the surrounding areas for everything pet related. The hospital has been well-established since 1962.
The veterinarians and staff provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures, dental, pharmacy, prescription food, hospital surgery, digital x-ray and ultrasound, holistic alternatives, acupuncture and chiropractic, boarding and outdoor run areas, daycare, grooming, and retail.

Shaker Hill Pet Resort is a safe and clean boarding facility inside the Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital in Pittsfield, MA. Our boarding facility is a member of Pet Care Services. We have a knowledgeable, friendly staff who care for your furry friends and give them lots of TLC and individual attention.

Our groomers will start taking phone calls after 11 am. If the groomers are with an animal and unable to take your call please leave a message with our front desk and a groomer will call you back as soon as they can. Bordetella (Kennel/Canine Cough Vaccine) must be current. This vaccine must be given to your pet at least 1 week in advance of boarding reservation if it is not already current within a calendar year of date of stay.

Emergency Care During Office Hours for Current Clients If you are not currently a client and your pet has an emergency please contact one of two local highly qualified EMERGENCY HOSPITALS. VESH in South Deerfield or Upstate Veterinary Specialties in Latham, NY. We do not offer walk in services. Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet.
