Sign of the Tymes Salon has been helping people look and feel their best for over 30 years in the Indianapolis area. Salon owner and lifelong Indianapolis East-sider, Valerie Ellis, first opened the salon in 1987 at 71st and Keystone, in 1996 moved to Broad Ripple, in 2011 we relocated near Glendale Town Center and in 2016 purchased our current location at 2881 E. 56th.

In order to serve our clients the best, when you have a scheduled appointment time, that time is reserved for you and only you. We ask that you respect our time as much as we respect yours. If you forget or decide to forgo your appointment for whatever reason, you will be considered a "no show."

Valerie is great. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 20 years. I take my two daughters to her as well. She always makes sure I am happy with the results. She offers opinions on color choices. I trust Valerie so much that there have been times when i just tell her to pick a good color for me and I havent been disappointed.
