Great experience at Fan Acupuncture. Found Dr. Junou Chang to be an excellent practitioner and great at explaining things. I am going for both fertility and migraines for acupuncture, but she suggested I try cupping for my back and neck pain. I don't know why I've never tried cupping before! Don't mind the cupped sized bruising on my back, but boy has my tension relieved. It didn't hurt at all, actually felt good. I know having the right person do it matters, and I definitely recommend Dr. Chang.

I have had a hamstring injury for 2 years that spread to my glute and IT band. I tried physical therapy, yoga, taking time off from working out, nothing worked. I finally decided to do acupuncture and am happy to say I am cured! Who knew that the problem was stemming from my back! Thanks Dr. Cheng for making me better. Now I can exercise again and am pain free.
My muscles were sooooo tight that it really hurt when I first started. Yes, sometimes the treatment was painful, but it was so worth it the day after. However, as my back/hamstring got better, each treatment was less painful.

Dr. Cheng is the best! I was very skeptical about acupuncture, but she made me a true believer. I first came to Dr. Cheng for chronic neck and back pain following a car accident years earlier. I felt instant relief after one visit, then followed up 6 more visits. The pain has been gone since (2.5 years).
Since I had such a positive experience with Dr. Cheng, I decided to go back to her when trying to get pregnant. My cycle was irregular, making pregnancy planning more difficult. She treated me for several months, then the first month trying, I got pregnant. Two years later, I went back for help

I am the only one it seems, but ouch! I have had many acupuncture sessions over the last 20 years with about three or four practioners (moved away or dead or I would be there), and by far Dr. Fan hurt me the most. I went twice. That's enough for me. I didn't get relief on top of the most pain ever while on an acupuncture table. Yes they are kind people, but I couldn't go back. It shouldn't hurt like that!
Also, there was blood on the wall by the baseboard, that you could see while your head was facing down through the neck rest, which indicated to me, someone else had

Dr. Fan is the best of doctor!
A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a sudden illness: sciatica. It was so painful I could not sit, and as time went on, the pain extended completely down my right leg. Walking became impossible, so I went to the Fan Acupuncture Clinic. I was treated by Dr. Fan. He is a wonderful doctor, with superb medical skills and is kind and ethical to all. I was SO impressed with not only Dr. Fan, but the entire staff. After five visits for acupuncture and massage, I began to feel some relief from what had been an unbearable pain. But, I have been to Dr. Fan ten times

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Fan and Dr. Cheng for five years. Because of their excellent care I am no longer troubled by chronic UTI's and my husbands high blood pressure is under control. We continue to go to them for preventive care. By far the best Acupuncture clinic in the Mile High City! I live in San Francisco now and every time I am in Denver to visit family I make an appointment to visit Fan Acupuncture clinic. Dr. Cheng and Dr.Fan are intelligent, kind and compassionate. They truly care about making a difference in your health. I am a fan of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) because it focuses on bringing the inside balance back to your body instead of just trying to kill symptoms using pills. Dr. Fan was born in a TCM family, graduated from and then became a professor in a TCM college moreover he even learned from a private TCM tutor. The family heritage, academic education, special training from his private TCM tutor and decades of experience make him a distinguished TCM practitioner. The fan acupuncture clinic is outstanding. I have being doing acupuncture for over ten years and found Dr fan and Dr Cheng when I moved to Colorado 2 years ago. I have suffered for a long time from anxiety, Dr Cheng has an incredible bed side manner, she always makes me feel at ease and confident that my health is in very safe hands. We have successfully treated on going stomach pains, migraines, insomnia, colds and flu, however mainly made a big difference in my level.of anxiety. I would highly recommend both Dr fan and Dr Cheng. I have received acupuncture at over 15 Chinese medical practices

Previously I received treatment from Dr. Cheng for a recurring ham string injury that has thankfully not recurred since! I had never had acupuncture treatment before and she made me feel comfortable. Recently, I returned to after hurting my knee. I was limping and unable to climb or descend stairs when I first went in for treatment. Now, just three weeks later, I can walk normally and am no longer experiencing pain. Fan Acupuncture Clinic is very professional and well-maintained!!!! I never had received an acupuncture treatment prior to this (although I've accompanied my father on visits to others before) so I was a bit nervous. If the clean-cut and charming decor, ambient music, and kind smiles from all the doctors and fellow patients didn't do it, I must say that the congeniality of Dr. Fan (the physician I visited for over 1 year) did.

I've been receiving acupuncture treatments for about five years now, and have been to several acupuncturists. Some have definitely been better than others, but Dr. Fan stands out as one of the very best I've been to. He is just about as highly educated in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine as one can get, and he's also one of the nicest and most gentle doctors I've been to, and he's helped me tremendously with various ailments, such as asthma. His prices are very reasonable as well, which is a bonus.

Fan Acupuncture Clinic is one of the best places to get "poked" in Denver. Not only are the acupuncturist some of the best educated I know (and I know a LOT of acupuncturists), but they are some of the kindest and good humored ones in town. While I rather not put up my personal medical history for my random Yelp crowd to ogle, they helped me greatly.
