Services
Vaccinations
Vaccinations protect pets from preventable diseases like rabies and distemper. Our team assesses regional risks to recommend core and non-core vaccines. Regular vaccinations, combined with health monitoring, ensure pets maintain immunity throughout their lives, supporting long-term wellness and disease prevention.
Dental Care
Dental care prevents gum disease and systemic infections. Services include cleanings, extractions, and oral exams. Poor dental hygiene can impact heart and kidney health, so we emphasize routine care to maintain overall wellness and alleviate discomfort from dental issues.
Microchipping
Microchipping ensures permanent pet identification. A chip implanted under the skin contains owner contact details via a registry. This service enhances pet recovery rates if lost, offering peace of mind and a safe, lasting solution for pet guardianship verification.
Parasite Prevention
Parasite prevention safeguards pets from fleas, ticks, and heartworm. We provide tailored medication regimens to prevent infestations. Proactive measures reduce severe health risks like anemia and organ damage, ensuring pets remain healthy and comfortable in all seasons.
Senior Care
Senior care addresses age-related conditions in pets over seven years old. Services include mobility assessments, dietary adjustments, and chronic disease management. Early detection of issues like arthritis or kidney decline extends quality life years through customized treatment plans.

Loved this place! Everyone was so kind and the vet came out and explained everything in detail to me. She took her time to make sure all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed. Reasonably priced and they got my little kitty in right away. This place is a gem!

My fianc and I finally found the perfect vet to care for our dog. What an amazing experience! The staff were friendly, helpful and kept the visit fun for our dog. Dr. Lepar was incredibly thorough, attentive, compassionate and quite humorous. We enjoyed working with him just as much as Boulder! We look forward to his next visit. Thank you, Dr. Lepar! 5 stars across the board!

I have taken my cat to West Bloomfield Vet for over two years. My cat had allergies and would get a rash on her face and body that caused her to scratch until her eyes closed up and she was raw. For two years they kept me coming back to get prednisone, prescription for special food, and exams. I paid hundreds with multiple visits, and my cat was not getting better. I was told about Great Lakes Veterinarians. They were kind, caring and Dr Mellisa Schultz took one look at my cat and said, She just needs an allergy shot once a month; didnt your other vet tell you this??? My cat was cleared

Dr. Lepar and his staff are empathic, skilled and compassionate. They have taken care of all our dogs in a consistent and high quality fashion from their early lives to their passages out of life. Communicative, up-to-date, and thorough, this veterinary practice offers the best of care. We are very grateful to have found them many years ago.
