Report
Solstice Physical Therapists are experts in treating pain with nonpharmacologic therapy and nonopioid means. This is because we treat the root cause of your pain, and not mask the symptoms. Studies show that seeking care from a doctor of physical therapy (DPT) before a medical doctor (MD) for many conditions can result in decreased cost, time, pain, and improved quality of life without the use of opioids or surgery.

Therapeutic Techniques
Report
Myofascial release is a safe, effective, hands-on technique that applies gentle sustained pressure onto the connective tissue or "fascia" to enhance mobility and eliminate pain. Inflammation, trauma, or surgery can cause myofascial restrictions producing tensile pressures throughout the body.

At Solstice PT, we have found that the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release is an extremely effective tool for every condition that we have treated from migraines to low back pain to fibromyalgia, sports pain and injuries and much more.
