As parents' needs grew, so did my heart to serve. My all-embracing model of care grew alongside their babies. Before I knew it I was baking cakes, shooting birthdays, and babysitting for date night. Baby's First Year portraits grew to photographing the first day of kindergarten! I absolutely love watching families grow and I am honored to have been there to see it all, with or without my camera.

My first birth I attended was in 1999, but it's only been in the last 10 years that I have built a business out of it. I received my doula training through DONA. I support ALL families + their unique birth. I have 5 children of my own, and have attended over 200 births. I would LOVE to meet you and your partner for frozen yogurt, to learn all about your pregnancy and what you hope/dream for your birth experience.

You only have to watch one video to answer the question, "Why is videography necessary when I have photos?" It's the sounds, voices, newborn movements. Things that just can't be captured on a photo. My approach to videography is a bit unique as I shoot like a seasoned parent. My oldest child is 21 and my "baby" is now 10.

All of my children have a pregnancy album of sorts filled with ultrasound photos, journaling, weight gain facts, and the infamous belly-growing photos. Photo: Photograph their reactions as they happen, or re-enact the announcement for a photograph. Photo: If possible, have your partner stop in to take a group shot or set your camera on a timer to capture the event.
