We had Spy inspections inspect a house for purchase in July of 2020. The inspection picked up a few issues like radon and termite damage in one corner, along with some evidence of carpenter ants. Noted was slight moisture in the attic around the one chimney and a flue inspection was recommended. Immediately upon closing, the basement flooded. Water seeped around all three chimneys, not just the one noted in the inspection. I had Catalfano roofing come out who identified the fact that the entire roof was put on incorrectly and missed in the inspection and is also lacking ventilation causing rot
