The recommended protocol is to plan an hour privately at the beginning of the visitation only for those 60 years of age and older as well as for those with underlying health conditions. This will be followed by a public visitation as indicated in the newspaper and on the funeral home website. Funeral services taking place on the following day that are expected to draw a large attendance may have to continue to be private or by invitation only.
