Specialized injury rehabilitation combines strength training with movement optimization to accelerate recovery. Our athletic doctors understand sports-specific demands, ensuring safe returns to activities like running, CrossFit, and HIIT workouts.
Performance Training
Performance training enhances athletic capabilities while preventing future injuries. We use force plate testing and movement analysis to develop customized programs that improve strength, mobility, and overall performance for athletes at all levels.
Post-Op Recovery
Post-operative recovery programs work alongside surgeons to optimize healing and rebuild strength. Our approach respects surgical repairs while implementing progressive mobilization strategies to restore full functionality safely and efficiently.
Force Plate Testing
Force plate testing analyzes movement patterns and biomechanics to identify performance-limiting factors. This technology helps create precise training protocols that enhance athletic efficiency and reduce injury recurrence risks.

I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain for a long time, for 11-12 years or so. I had stopped doing a lot of things that I used to love like running, and playing ultimate frisbee.
Sitting / working at my desk job made things worse so overall my well-being was pretty low. During this time I had tried a number of physical therapy / rehab / care options. Some didn't help at all, some helped somewhat but whatever positive results I had never seemed to last very long.
7 months ago I started at Big League Performance and Rehab and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Right from the start

I came to Big League earlier in the year with hip and ankle pain from running and lifting. I choose Big League because they specialize in sports related injuries and not just your run of the mill PT clinic that helps your lazy uncle recoup his insurance money from a minor car accident. In about 3 months they've helped strengthen my hip and ankle to be pain free and I can run and lift again to my max intensity. Thanks to Big League I can workout without fear of injuring myself.

Ive been going to big league for a couple of years and its been a fantastic experience. I had always been consistently plagued with shoulder/back/hip issues from old sports or lifting injuries; I really just couldnt stay healthy and on-program while working aggressively toward my race or strength goals. Regardless of whether my pain was limiting my performance, just being a nuisance, or acutely impacting my daily life, the big league team always has the fix! The thing that really set them apart for me, though, was that beyond manual physical therapy treatment and therapeutic exercises

I have so many amazing things to say about Big League and Dr. Mike! I came in about a year ago with a lot of pain points and zero hope for any of it to get resolved. As a fitness professional, it is important for me to stay active and also for my sanity. Mike helped me regain faith in my body and what it can accomplish. He has does a great job educating me because Im always asking a million questions. He taught me a lot about pain and how its different for everyone as well as debunking a lot of fitness myths. I look forward to every session knowing that I am in the best hands, and always

Preface that I've never received therapy here and have heard good things about the actual therapy. However, the in-take call was off putting enough to not come. It felt like a hard sales call and very much like a boutique fitness center. I was asked what my "goals" were and I just said I was injured and wanted to be able to run again- that's it, that's my goal. And the person said "but what's next- like is your goal to be in the best shape of your life for a wedding- as an example?" Additionally after I said the cost was too high since they don't take insurance, he went into another 5 minute sales

Mike is the best. Not only has he helped make a huge difference in my running, but he helps you understand your body more. They don't promote the trendy quick fix, and help you find the long term sustainable solution. Their individualized approach makes all the difference.
