Tom is a native of Illinois, and grew up in the small suburb of Naperville, Chicago. He attended Midwestern University in Downers, Illinois and displayed his leadership abilities as President of his physical therapy class and of the College of Health Sciences. Tom also received the Midwestern Community Service Award while completing his degree.
