Many years ago, I inadvertently threw away one of my wedding bands. My husband and I visited over a dozen jewelry stores to get pricing for a duplicate band. We had never been to Nazar's, and that first visit made us customers for life. They were not only able to make a band identical to the one I had, but they also came in several thousand dollars less than the other jewelers!
Since that day, we have come back for every anniversary and birthday to go shopping. The staff is always incredibly kind, and their pieces are unique and absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend Nazar's enough

I needed a custom vintage engagement ring and wedding band on short notice. The design was very intricate, and other jewelers needed 6-8 weeks or longer. Nazar's was able to get my ring done in half that time and for a very reasonable price. Alec and Ruby were a joy to work with and answered all of my questions and texts promptly and professionally. We have been traveling to Houston for 20 years to shop at Nazar’s! Yesterday, we went back to replace my wedding ring that I had lost. The original was purchased at Nazar’s, too! The entire staff/family is so friendly and helpful! There isn’t a better jewelry store anywhere! I won’t buy from anywhere else!!

Everyone with whom I dealt was so polite and professional. The work that they did was exemplary and completed more quickly than I expected. The wedding ring matched the inherited 1940s engagement ring beautifully, and they repronged the center Diamond so the rings are like brand new. Thank you to everyone there from the counter staff, to the designer, and the jeweler who did the work. I highly recommend them and their work!

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Nazar's with Alec. He helped us design the most beautiful engagement ring. He listened to what our wants were and also gave us great recommendations! He didn't even flinch with our annoying indecisiveness. The craftsmanship is beautiful, and we are forever thankful. I needed a vintage Art Deco ring repaired and had gone to several places that refused to even look at it because I didn't buy it from them. I brought this ring to Nazars and they fixed it in 10 minutes and didn't charge me anything. I'll be back to buy an anniversary ring from them for their kindness and willingness!

I traded in my wedding ring that my husband purchased for me when we married 11 years ago. For our anniversary we traded in the original ring.
Mr Nazar credited us for the full dollar amount, to add to the purchase of a new ring.
Now granted. I doubt you get full dollar amount unless you double the cost. But that's a win win. No one does that, That I'm aware of.

I was shopping for a wedding ring many years ago and stopped by to peruse their selection. When I walked in the lady behind the counter refused to let me walk around and shooed me away. I had never been treated so rudely before. I am perplexed how a store can still be operating given their poor customer service and the vast local competition.

I went in just to see if they had a ring guard or snuggie I could buy until I was able to send me ring to get resized and the lady that first spoke to me barely understood what I was asking for. Then we go to ask the lady behind the counter who said " we don't sell anything that isn't real go to Walmart or something" in a very condescending tone.
I still asked to get sized and the original lady tries to tell me my size is the size of my ring with isn't true because it obviously doesn't fit and she didn't understand that I needed to find out what my actual ring

My husband and I bought my engagement ring here in August of 2014. Initially I was very pleased with the entire transaction, and felt like we had gotten a good deal for our money. However, in the last year and a half, I've lost TWO diamonds out of my setting. The first time was less than 6 months after I purchased it, so they said it was still under warranty and it was fixed. However, this time it is not under warranty, so I'm paying out of pocket to have it fixed at another jeweler. The store has very nice jewelry, and pretty ok sales staff. They are very nice. The security guard stares and treats you like a criminal the entire time you're in the store, which is a very huge mood-killer, but I understand the need and try not to discount my experience because of that.
Prices are very high in my opinion, but that isn't always an issue if you're jewelry shopping.

Buyer Beware: My husband bought my engagement ring here, and after 1.5 years, the main diamond came loose while I was drying my hands. I know this is when it came off because after turning my apartment upside down for 2 days looking for it, I found it beneath where I dry my hands.
We took the ring back to Nazar's for them to reset it, and they said it would cost $50. I asked if there was any kind of guarantee when he bought it, but he said "No- I don't know how hard she (I) hit it." Really? I was drying my hands!

I came in yesterday looking for a necklace and earring set. The woman who helped me was very attentive and understood what I was looking for. I did find earrings that I liked but when I asked how much they were, I couldn't get a straight answer. She said, first pick the one you want and then we'll give you a price. Umm what?
When I had narrowed it down a different woman "priced it" and I was finally given a number, but it was more than I wanted to spend and I was put off by their selling style. If you enjoy guessing games and negotiating you might like this place.

I can only speak for my personal experience which was good. We went on a Thursday and were the only people in the store. We were immediately helped and had two guys working hard to find what I wanted.
The main reason I like this place is somewhat of a personal preference. The jewelry at Nazar's is not even close to as expensive as a place like Zadock's. The reason is because you are not paying for their uber high rent and model looking sales divas.
I gotta tell ya, 14k gold from store A is the same karats as 14k gold from store B. This was a wedding band trip so the stakes weren

I have shopped at Nazar's since 2004. I have been extremely happy with the beautiful jewelry and the wonderful customer service, and my wedding ring was purchased from Nazars. Mr. and Mrs. Nazar are both so nice and helpful.
Every time I go in, they check my wedding ring and clean it. I have recommended two freinds to Nazar's. One bought a neckace with a diamond pendent, and the other bought a beautiufl diamond braclet.
I have also had an item custom made and they did a beautiful job.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality jewelry and excellent customer service.

I took an old diamond ring into Nazar's to have it repurposed. The ring consisted of a round-brilliant cut diamond with two trillion (triangle) diamonds. I asked around and someone I worked with recommended Nazar's. I made an appointment and was late because of traffic. The staff was so nice and the showroom was beautiful and well planned.
