I grew up in Milton and graduated with the class of 2000. I then attended UVM to earn my Bachelor's Degree and completed my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008 at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After graduating from dental school, I decided to return to my hometown of Milton to forge my new career.

I first came to Vermont for undergraduate studies at Middlebury College in 1991 and knew that I would want to make this beautiful place my home. After earning Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies, I moved to North Carolina to complete my post-graduate studies. I had decided after a rotation in Bristol, Vermont that dentistry would be the perfect career to combine my love of sciences with my interest in visual arts.

I was born and raised in western Illinois and attended the University of Illinois for my undergraduate studies. I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Loyola University in Chicago. After practicing for three years in Chicago, my wife Cheryle and I moved to Milton in 1976, where I started Milton Family Dentistry, the town's first private dental practice.
