VBInspect.com is your gateway to a professional, web-enabled, pre-purchase home inspection. We climb on roofs if possible, provide a narrative easy to read report, and we encourage you to accompany us for the entire inspection! We must have permission from the owner of the property to perform the inspection.

If you are not satisfied with our inspection (within 30 days) your general inspection fee will be refunded. VBInspect.com is a small, locally owned, home based business. We do not use a call center and try our best to answer all calls between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday -Friday. If you don't reach us, don't be afraid to leave a message, we'll get back to you as soon as we can! Diane worked for our previous owner(s) for 10+ years and has been typing reports for us since 2009.
Meet Our Inspectors

All of our inspectors are Certified with the American Society of Home Inspectors. We are also a PA State Certified Radon testing firm (1607) and have multiple radon certified testing individuals. We are a certified pest control firm (BU 7931). In April of 2016, Jason purchased ownership of VBInspect from Tim Raufer.

The following is a breakdown of our fees. It looks complex, but don't worry! Our website will automatically calculate your fees depending on property size, property age, and services chosen. The finished living space can sometimes be obtained from the Allegheny County Real Estate website. This may also be listed on the multi-list document.

Generally, the inspection will require 2.5 - 4.5 hours for most average sized homes in this area. Clients area encouraged to attend the inspection. Many find it helpful to listen to short re-caps of findings along with visually seeing any issues in person.
