Services
Vaccinations
We provide core and elective vaccinations to protect pets against infectious diseases. Our AAHA-compliant protocols include rabies, distemper, and lyme vaccines for dogs, along with feline leukemia and panleukopenia vaccines for cats. Proper immunization schedules help build strong immune systems while meeting legal requirements for rabies protection.
Acupuncture
Our veterinary acupuncture services address musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions in animals. This treatment stimulates natural healing through targeted needle placement, reducing inflammation and pain while releasing endorphins. The AVMA-recognized practice works effectively alongside conventional therapies for chronic conditions like arthritis and hip dysplasia.
Cold Laser Therapy
This non-invasive procedure uses focused light to stimulate cell regeneration and improve circulation. We apply cold laser therapy for wound healing, inflammation reduction, and pain management in dogs, cats, and exotic pets. The treatment works effectively alongside surgical and medical interventions, promoting faster recovery times without medication side effects.
Dental Care
Our comprehensive dental services include professional cleanings, dental X-rays, and oral surgery. We emphasize preventive care through regular check-ups and home brushing guidance. Advanced periodontal treatments involve scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications to maintain oral health and prevent systemic infections that can affect vital organs.
Surgical Services
We perform various surgical procedures in our modern operating suite with continuous anesthetic monitoring. Our capabilities include spay/neuter operations, soft tissue surgeries, and dental extractions. Pre-operative diagnostics help evaluate surgical risk, while post-operative care includes pain management protocols and follow-up evaluations to ensure proper healing.

I absolutely love Old Lyme Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Neil, Jenn and his staff. Enzo loves visiting them at the vet. This past Friday we found a lump under Enzo's neck and were very concerned as he is only… 10 months old and basically developed it over night. They know how crazy I am as a dog mom and even though they were completely over booked, they did not send us to the Emergency Vet Hospital to wait in our car for hours. They allowed us to drop off Enzo, and they looked at him in between patients. He ended up needing to be operated on. The entire process they called us and kept us informed

Our dog Pebbles was hit by a car. We showed up after they were closed. The staff was on their way out for the day. They saw us coming, and raced inside to help. Their actions saved her life, she would have died… from shock. The entire staff is always compassionate and caring with their patients and their human owners. thank you old Lyme vet! Snyder's
