MASK MANDATE: In accordance with the state's latest recommendation all students under the age of 12 who are not vaccinated are required to wear masks during classes as well as when entering and departing the dojo. This policy will remain in effect until further notice. At the Rising Sun Karate Academy we offer highly energetic Karate classes to children, teens and adults.

Little Ninjas
Report
Our Little Ninjas classes are highly energetic with an emphasis on teaching about focusing, good respect, listening skills, and self control. The program is designed to provide a very basic foundation for the student allowing them future growth and development in the martial arts. Basic kicks, stances, and strikes are utilized in a fun and motivating manner.
Kids Karate

All of our kids classes are highly energetic. Karate training has been proven to have a positive influence on children both in and outside of the training room. Along with the physical aspects of our karate program we place heavy emphasis on focusing, discipline, and respect. The character of our students develops as their technique and abilities develop in the Dojo.
Teens/adults
Report
Students in this program can expect to achieve superior fitness, focus, self esteem and increased confidence through continuous training. In our Teen/Adult program an emphasis is placed upon proficiency in effective defensive and fighting techniques. A combination of traditional and modern training methods are utilized to achieve this goal.
Birthday Parties
Report
We offer Birthday parties here at Rising Sun Karate for current students, former students and to the public at large (for children ages 5+). Email masterunger@gmail.com about a month in advance of your desired date/time to work out the schedule and discuss all the details. Most parties are hosted on Saturday afternoons from 12:30pm - 2:00pm, however we can make special appointments for Friday nights or Sunday afternoons per special request.
