Services
Manual Therapy
Our manual therapy techniques address musculoskeletal pain through skilled hand movements that improve joint mobility and soft tissue flexibility. This evidence-based approach targets specific areas of dysfunction while promoting natural healing processes. Patients benefit from reduced pain and improved functional movement patterns through customized treatment sessions.
Trigger Point Dry Needling
This specialized treatment uses thin needles to target hyperirritable muscle knots, improving blood flow and reducing chronic pain. Our certified therapists use this technique to treat conditions like migraines, sports injuries, and repetitive strain disorders. Patients experience decreased muscle tension and accelerated recovery times when combined with traditional physical therapy.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Our vestibular program addresses dizziness and balance disorders through customized exercises that improve inner ear function. Certified specialists create individualized plans for patients with vertigo, concussion-related dizziness, and age-related balance issues. This therapy enhances stability and reduces fall risk through progressive balance challenges.
Concussion Rehabilitation
This specialized program addresses post-concussion symptoms through gradual reintroduction of physical and cognitive activities. Our therapists monitor symptoms like headaches and dizziness while implementing vision training and balance exercises. Patients receive personalized recovery timelines and return-to-play protocols for athletes.
Running Analysis
Using video analysis and biomechanical assessment, we identify running form inefficiencies that contribute to injury. This service provides runners with customized footwear recommendations and technique modifications to improve performance and prevent recurring injuries. Both recreational and competitive athletes benefit from our gait specialists' expertise.

I've gone to two of their locations, Pearl Street in central Denver and Alton Way in Greenwood Village, and have seen several different therapists for a number of years. They have helped with several issues including rehabing a knee replacement and chronic back problems. The care is amazing. Careful diagnosis, caring people, quality work, great customer service. I recommend them without reservation. In addition, because of my lengthy history, I have gotten to know the owners and have had the opportunity to observe how they screen, interview and onboard new PT's, also very careful

Specialized and very special. Had two occasions to use Amanda at the Pearl Street facility. She first provided therapy for back problems that physicians said needed surgery. Using her skills with dry needling process and other therapist techniques, I was able to avoid a second back surgery. I am able to golf as I want and only have occasional pain. Using the exercises and decompression she recommended has me in control of pain. The second cause for Amanda's skills was numbness in my arms which is virtually gone. Again, dry needling and muscle manipulation by her proved very effective.

I had very good experiences here through two bouts of physical therapy after severe lower back spasms. Russ was very personable and genuinely cared about getting me back to my previous activity level. He also made sure to thoroughly explain each exercise/movement I was doing and the mechanical and physiological context for its use. I really appreciated that he did not 'dumb down' my therapy. As a therapist, I would give Russ 5 stars. The reason for my three star rating is specifically due to Specialized Physical Therapy's customer service and policies. I made accommodations for

Specialized Physical Therapy has made such a positive impact on my health and quality of life that I want other people searching for help with orthopedic or neurological pain to be aware of a company that stands head and shoulders above the rest. Over the years I have been seen by a number of physical therapists. They were "fine" in dealing with acute issue but eventually I was told that I was "the best I could hope to be". Over 3 yrs ago I became a patient of SPT because of chronic back and neck pain. From day one my experience in the SPT clinic was vastly different from

I had achilles surgery so I could run again in August of '14, and after a torturous amount of time on crutches, they sent me to physical therapy. I chose a place that was less than impressive, wasn't getting anything out of the expensive sessions, so I quit and decided I didn't need PT. A few months later, still limping very badly on the right due to the surgery, I also started limping on the left, because I was all off kilter. In late April, 8 months after my surgery, I was at wits end, certain I would always limp, be in pain, I met with Jenna of Specialized. I still remember
