The Importance of a Service
Report
A funeral Service allows family and friends to recognize the life of a loved one and acknowledge that a life has come to an end. Funerals are important for the survivors because they provide a supportive, caring environment for those who have suffered the loss. This ritual is the first step in the healing process of the bereaved.
Traditional Services
Report
In this and in all types of services, we encourage families to include memorabilia in the form of photos and videos and other cherished items of their loved one. These can be displayed along with floral tributes. Acknowledgment cards and a memorial register are usually included. We can assist in the immediate production of a video when you provide a series of photos.
Cremation Services
Report
Cremation is one of the options to honor a deceased loved one, and Washington Memorial Funeral House can make all necessary arrangements. However, since it is often important to allow surviving friends and family an opportunity to honor the loved one with a memorial service and express their grief at the loss, Washington Memorial offers a number of options for both traditional and more personalized services to go along with cremation.
