In a nutshell, photography ignites me-so much that I resigned from my retirement-saving, payroll-position, teaching career of fifteen years to pursue this dream. My goal is to provide you with not only a relaxed experience, but also a sense of empowerment. I want you to feel loved and beautiful, appreciated and accomplished.

This includes all levels offered: portfolio review, website review, the business of photography, and the live shoot with model(s). On many occasions, I've had photographers message me and ask for help in finding a location to shoot, advice on a camera or lens purchase, what to do in a particular lighting situation, or how to interact with families during a family session.

Bang Images photographs individuals, couples and families. There are several types of photography sessions: On-Location, At-home, Studio, and Headshot Sessions. On-location Sessions are at an agreed upon public space. At-home Sessions are at your home; they can be indoors or in your yard, or a combination of both.
I will meet you at an agreed upon location, such as a public park for a natural setting or in downtown Birmingham for a city setting for our session. I will travel to your home for a session. These sessions are relaxed and wonderful for newborns. They're also perfect for anyone not wanting to venture outdoors in the winter or summer months for a session.
