He was finishing his Bachelor of Science degree at Virginia Tech, when he was involved in an automobile accident, and had neck pain and back pain, so he sought out pain relief. Thanks to a chiropractor helping him recover from the injuries he sustained, he decided to specialize in chiropractic care.
