It is the philosophy of "A Good Start (AGS)" to develop the whole child. This development takes place through social skills enhancement, academic learning, daily devotions (nondenominational Christian Bible stories are taught), and creative play time.
Reading and writing are very important in any child's development and at "A Good Start", children are encouraged to read and write by the teaching of phonics, picture journals, along with sight word memorization and story/word comprehension.Children are also read to several times daily. We sincerely believe, reading is fun.
