In our first session, I listen and ask a variety of questions. I will then give you an initial assessment that attempts to capture your problem. I will also offer some useful perspectives on the factors that may be contributing to the problems, and suggest possible next steps that will likely be necessary in resolving these problems and helping you achieve your goals.

Parking: Find the three parking spaces labeled "The Psychology Center Customer Parking Only." You may park in any open "Center" space. If full, there is metered parking on the adjacent streets. There is a metered parking lot next door across Mermaid on Glenneyre and another 2 story lot one block past the office on Glenneyre on the right as you go up the hill.

Dr. Lindquist is a Board Certified and licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in high conflict couples and trauma therapy for individuals. Her private practice has been in Laguna Beach for more than 30 years where she is part of a group of independent practitioners.
She has written a book, Happily Married with Kids, It's NOT just a fairy tale about how to be in the 33% of couples who grow closer and happier after kids and avoid being in the 67% who are much more unhappy or divorced.She has trained numerous therapists and published many papers on assertiveness, domestic violence and social skills training.

Rates and Insurance

Rates: The fee for service is $250 for a 50 minute session. A double session is 90 minutes and the fee is $450. If you prefer longer or shorter units of time, we can arrange for different session lengths with the fees adjusted accordingly. It is best to pay at the front desk when you arrive for your session as we may discuss challenging material and you may be more comfortable leaving directly when the session is over.
