Flush the system once and use a plunger to gradually pump the blockage through the system. Avoid flushing the toilet too much while it is blocked as this will cause an overflow.

Dakota Property Management has been incredible to me and my family during a very difficult time. Covid left me jobless in 2021 and at the start of 2022 my family suffered the loss of a very close loved one. The management company has been great in understanding and assisting me in getting back on track. They are professional, responsive, courteous and most importantly they genuinely care about their tenants and want to build good relationships with those that they rent to. I found Dakota Property Management after my husband died and taking care of our rental property was overwhelming along with so many other details of life to take care of at that time. I met with Ann first and she was willing to take over tenant screening in the middle of the process. Through the past 4 years Dakota has seen me through 3 very different tenants, all with individual needs for "tenant care". About year two, Jane came to the Boulder area for Ann. I went to a few showings with Dakota. After some bad experiences with other companies- these guys were a breath of fresh air! Their agent Quincy showed me around 4 places. She was very knowledgeable of the properties, super courteous, and I never felt pressured. All things which were NOT the case with the other companies. I'd highly recommend them if you're looking to rent, they are pros.

I have had a very difficult with my property manager handling serious and necessary issues regarding the condo I’ve been renting out for the last 7-8 months. The condo is currently on the 2nd floor which is not impossible for intruders To attempt to reach. The window in my condo is apparently broken and it refuses to lock. I reached out to the property manager named brad and express my concerns about the window not being able to lock all the way and it’s more of a safety concern for my family and I. I've never worked with a company as unprofessional and clueless as Dakota Property Management. Every question I ask is answered with a condescending response. The person that I had worked with was unbelievably out of touch, and seemed to never understand what it was that I was asking. The answers I received would often result in something totally different in the end. Such a frustrating experience working with someone who has no empathy or ability to comprehend questions and solve issues efficiently. I just want to be treated like a human. The company isn't all about rentals, the owners are some of the issues with these tenants that have issues, and some of these reviews are older, so give them a chance, and remember Dakota is just facilitating the communication for the owners, so take that into consideration when reading these reviews. I am a landlord, and Dakota has been awesome to me, to work for, and to work with. They always treat the tenants great for my properties.
