I founded Ignited Imagery after retiring from the La Plata County Sheriff's Office in 2015, transitioning into my third career as a luxury real estate and architecture photographer. My journey began with a photo booth venture to overcome my fear of posing clients, which evolved into mastering real estate photography through collaboration with industry professionals and online education. Joining BNI in 2016 connected me with real estate agents who helped refine my ability to capture a property's lifestyle and functionality. During the 2020 pandemic, I deepened my expertise through Mike Kelley's classes, learning advanced techniques to blend art and architecture efficiently. Today, my work includes photographing high-value properties like $17M, $20M, and $35M homes, featured in The Wall Street Journal and showcased at Wells Group Realty in Durango.My military service spanning 12 years with active duty and the Colorado Army National Guard instilled discipline that continues to shape my professional approach. I have worked with Andie for headshots and real estate listing photos and she has always had such attention to detail, making the home look as nice as possible while still staying true to the actual home so buyers are not let down when they see the property in person.
