Our mission is to make every client's outdoor living space the favorite part of their home. I have spent decades pursuing my passion for design, nature, and beauty. My love of design led to degrees in both Interior Design and Horticultural Design. After working in top architectural firms for almost a decade, I decided to combine my design skills with my passion for nature and founded Julie Orr Design, an award-winning landscape design practice.
Since 2006, I've maintained a regional focus, serving homeowners in Silicon Valley, California. As a Bay Area native, I'm able to draw from my deep understanding of the soils, microclimate, plants, and lifestyle that characterize the region and use this knowledge as the foundation of my work. One of the hallmarks of my practice is the highly personalized, collaborative experience I offer clients throughout the design process.
