History of the Office

Prior to 1850, the investigation and prosecution of crime in Pennsylvania was the province of the state Attorney General and his deputies. In May of 1850. the Pennsylvania legislature, seeing the need for a prosecutor elected by the people of each county, passed a law providing for the election of county District Attorneys.

As a witness in a criminal proceeding you have been subpoenaed to appear in court to testify. Your subpoena is simply a court order directing your appearance at the time and place stated. Once you have been subpoenaed you are required to appear as ordered until excused. Failure to appear may be regarded by the Court as contempt.

The vehicles will be available for public inspection on that same date from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Auto in Motion, located on Route 390 near the intersection with Golf Drive in Barrett Township. All vehicles will be auctioned in "as is" condition with no guarantee as to condition.
The successful bidders must able to provide at least one form of photo identification containing current address and must be prepared to pay for the vehicles by the close of the auction on with cash or a certified check only.No personal checks or credit card payments will be accepted. All vehicles must be removed from the property on the day of the sale.
