Trusted Early Childhood Education & Childcare in Connecticut
Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Program (BBECP) was founded in 2009 by Ridhita Gupta to address the need for high-quality, compassionate childcare in Stamford, Connecticut. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children aged 6 weeks to 6 years can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. With four locations across Connecticut, we offer infant care, toddler learning programs, and preschool curricula designed to meet each child's unique developmental needs. Our licensed educators use the Creative Curriculum and Connecticut Preschool Assessment Framework to foster growth across five domains: social-emotional, physical, cognitive, creative, and personal growth. We prioritize small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios to ensure personalized attention and intentional teaching strategies.

Our team undergoes biannual professional development to maintain expertise in early childhood education and childcare programming. Security is paramount, with controlled access systems, surveillance cameras, and rigorous emergency preparedness protocols in place. We partner closely with families through daily communication to support holistic child development. Ongoing staff reflections and collaborative planning ensure continuous improvement in curriculum delivery. As a trusted provider, we remain committed to nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.

We are very happy with our daycare experience at Bright Beginnings! The teachers are caring and the staff is super helpful. Our baby loves going every day and we feel totally comfortable having him there each day. Highly recommend Bright Beginnings!

We sent our son to Bright Beginnings at 11 months of age. He has been attending the school for more than two years now and we are so grateful to have found this great 'home away from home'. We have had a really good experience with loving teachers who actually teach and don't just babysit - especially with Ms. Lily, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Barbara - our son has learned so much. Ridhita, the Director, has always been kind and accommodating. The outdoor space is wonderful and a great way for kids to experience nature play. The teachers do a good job of getting the kids outside in all seasons

This daycare is run by a director who has no background in education and is only nice to families during the enrollment time. The director lacks basic customer service skills and is very unprofessional. Children are viewed as dollar signs and not as children since the director only cares about the money.
Teachers are not well trained or supported. There is a very high teacher turn-around. We had several issues regarding the safety and hygiene at this daycare. We have given this daycare many chances, but they continued to disappoint us. We only stayed, because we happened to have a great teacher
