Embry Neusner Arscott & Shafner
Let us help you answer these questions. Our firm has a down-to-earth approach informed by decades of experience. Recognized in Eastern Connecticut and nationally for our advocacy in workers' compensation matters, we get results. Through shipbuilding, war and brisk maritime trade, New London County has a very rich history built by the efforts of the working class.

For three decades, we have fought for our clients in matters of personal injury, workers' compensation, veterans and social security disability benefits. We have worked alongside doctors, scientists, unions, and the workforce to fight for fairness for workers, even when it's not the popular thing to do.

Awesome awesome my lawyer is down to earth "reel" nice guy he's personable he gets to know who you are before you go to trial. He loves bow fishing, how awesome is that. I am very leery when it comes to attorneys and lawyers. However the staff and the lawyers at this office made me feel comfortable and quite frankly right at home.

At Embry, Neusner, Arscott & Shafner, our team members are also fathers, daughters, sons, mothers, siblings and friends. We understand who our clients are and how these situations impact them and their family members. Established in 1705, Groton became a community of ship builders along with trade and commerce using the region's access to the waterways.
Community Involvement
Report
A ceremony is held each year by the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut, which ENA&S is proud to support. ENA&S attorneys are also involved with The Connecticut Council on Occupational Safety and Health, Inc. (ConnectiCOSH), an organization of labor, community health and legal people working together to improve health, safety and environmental conditions at worksites in Connecticut communities.
Workers Compensation
Report
The Workers' Compensation Act in Connecticut was first enacted in 1913. Although there have been many changes over the years, the goal of the act remains to provide wage replacement and benefits, as well as medical treatment, for employees who have been injured, disabled or killed while performing their jobs.
