Free Medical Care for Underserved Communities Worldwide
Aloha Medical Mission has dedicated over four decades to delivering free healthcare to medically underserved populations in Hawaii and globally. Founded in 1983 by Drs. Ramon Sy and Ernesto Espaldon, our organization began with cleft-lip surgeries in the Philippines and has expanded to include gynecology, dentistry, orthopedics, and reconstructive surgery. We collaborate with local governments and healthcare providers to address critical needs in Asia, the Pacific Rim, and beyond. Our volunteer teams of medical professionals and non-medical personnel perform thousands of procedures annually, prioritizing sustainability and cultural respect.

In Hawaii, we established the state's first free dental clinic and continue to serve homeless and uninsured communities through partnerships with local health centers. Our mission emphasizes training local physicians, donating medical supplies, and fostering long-term healthcare solutions through initiatives like our Nepal surgical programs and Bangladesh multiservice clinic. Transparency in operations and community-driven approaches remain central to our work, ensuring patients receive life-changing care without financial burden.

Spoke to someone over the phone gave all my info said I would qualify with my daughter. Waited a week for the appointment drove down just for them to tell me we don't qualify. What a waste of time, why say over the phone that they could help.

I've ALWAYS had dental coverage, but my choice of work has me without dental coverage right now. Needless to say when I recently chipped a molar and was digging out any extra food that got stuck my anxiety was through the roof. I found this place from a Google search and I have to say the staff is AWESOME got two cavities filled and this is the first doctor that stuck me with a needle and I DID NOT feel it.

They provide an excellent service to the community. If you need medical or dental care and don't have insurance, call them. They will either provide care at no cost or refer you to a low-cost clinic.
