The owner of MH Contracting, Mike Haenel, served on active duty for 8 years in the Marine Corps as a mechanic on aircraft recovery systems. After being injured, he could no longer meet the stringent demands of the Marine Corps. In 2000, Mike returned home and continued using his mechanical abilities while working for local contractors in the construction field.
He has designed and supervised projects up to $10 million. He has always loved fixing things and working with his hands. In 2012, Mike decided it was time to start his own company, fulfilling his desire to help residential and commercial property owners, while performing projects at a reasonable cost.
