Established in 2015 by restaurateurs Benjamin and Liza Groshell, our Jacksonville Beach location rebranded as Dockside Seafood Restaurant in 2020. Positioned along the Jacksonville Beach Boat ramp, we provide a casual dining experience with breathtaking marsh views and a lively boating atmosphere.

I travel all over the US for business. Im always asking, whats the best place to eat in town. I was not steered wrong coming here! OMG! I had the Trigger Fish basket (which I never heard of) and it was incredible! The hush puppies were the best I have ever had. I could have made a dessert just on those. Wish you were in Texas!

Very casual great seafood restaurant. You order at the front counter and they bring your meal to your table. We ordered mahi grilled. Side of fries and cole slaw. Service was really fast and people were friendly. We will def be back again. Food was great. It's a no frills fish place but a view of the waterway and great tasting food.

Dockside Seafood Restaurant is a little hard to find but the GPS system used to locate it worked well. We ended up right in front of the restaurant and there is a large sign which makes it very visible once the person looking for it is in the right place. There is a large display of fish on ice upon entering the restaurant. Depending on a person's sensibilities, this can be a good or bad greeting.

The fish were large, appeared to be fresh, and, of course, this is a seafood restaurant. The style is informal in the manner of most fish houses of this nature. An order is placed at a bar with a large

I have had lunch and dinner here dozens of times and have always been happy with every meal I have ever had here. The service continues to be excellent. Management has chosen to hire a lot of college age staff and they all are so very clean cut,respectful and responsive. Absolutely great job on the hiring. The specialty of the house is anything fried, although blackened and broiled come out excellent as well. I have tried almost everything on the menu and my favorite is the Blackened Redfish with Greens and Coleslaw. My better half loves the fried shrimp. The hush puppies may be the best I

Excellent lunch. Had the fried calamari basket. The seasoned fries were tasty and crisp. The calamari was large and tender. And we had the tuna salad. The fresh tuna slices were well seasoned atop a bed of spinach leaves. All the dipping sauces were yummy. And.... we sat outside and watched the boats dock and launch from the local boat ramp. Good times

Outstanding fresh seafood with excellent service by the staff. I highly recommend the blackened shrimp and scallops as both was fantastic. The hush puppies were incredible as well. The view of the water at Sunset was simply stunning. The restaurant was extremely clean and well maintained
