We count on grants and donations to fund the healthcare costs that aren't covered by insurance, as well as other high-impact services that make a big difference in economically challenged communities.

Baltimore Medical System serves nearly 55,000 patients in Greater Baltimore, primarily in low-income, underserved areas. Baltimore Medical System is a community-based, independent non-profit. The level of care we provide goes far beyond what you'd expect from a general practitioner. Are you insured? We accept most prescription insurance plans. We can help you learn about the health insurance plans offered by the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid. This program is for women who have a BMI over 25 and a child under the age of 5. To join you must be female. You must be between the ages of 18 and 44. You must live in Baltimore city. And you must receive public assistance (including WIC, SNAP, TCA). Need help getting pregnant or access to birth control?
