The island of Kauai is the westernmost inhabited portion of the Hawaiian islands that one can visit, and the Hawaiian islands are located further from any continent than any other islands in the world.
Kauai's location, combined with its sub-tropical weather, its Hawaiian culture, its unique vegetation, and its stunning landscape can make PCAB seem like a study abroad program that maintains the comforts of a familiar language, familiar products in stores, and ease of communication with the "mainland".Unlike most massage programs, most of our students travel thousands of miles to attend our program, the westernmost massage school in the world.

Trauma-informed

Trauma-informed Service and Trauma-specific Treatment are two related, relatively new, and loosely-defined terms that are often confused. PCAB is a trauma-informed school that teaches trauma-informed bodywork, but it does not offer trauma-specific treatment, similar to how a company may abide by standards of equality and non-discrimination while its products or services are not directly related to such issues.

At PCAB we currently offer one 808-hour program every October through May.

Our Relational Bodywork Program is designed to facilitate the growth of highly skilled bodywork professionals. We offer everything one would expect in a bodywork program e.g. Heart-centered: All the fanciest techniques in the world don't matter if the therapist doesn't truly care about and value their client.
