Cardiology

What emergency services are available after regular business hours?
Our Robbinsville, Brick, and Philadelphia locations provide 24/7/365 emergency care. Maple Shade offers extended hours from 7am-11pm daily. No appointment needed for emergency visits.
How do I schedule a specialist appointment?
Specialist appointments require a referral from your primary veterinarian. Contact our client liaisons at 609-259-8300 to schedule after receiving a referral. Same-day emergency visits don't require referrals.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Wells Fargo, and CareCredit. Full payment is due at service time. Pet insurance requires direct client reimbursement from providers.
Are there specialists available for exotic pets?
Yes, our Avian & Exotics Department provides primary and specialty care for birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Services include wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgical treatments for exotic species.
What diagnostic imaging capabilities do you offer?
We provide digital radiography, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI services. Advanced imaging supports accurate diagnoses for complex cases across all specialties and locations.

The emergency room, that I've had to use twice now (broken back leg for the first visit and 2 broken front legs the second time), is absolutely awful! If you take your pet here, prepare to wait, than wait some more and finally, wait a bit longer. When I was finally taken back to a room, I preceded to, you guessed it, wait even more! At this point, I was at 5 hours sitting in the ER waiting room with a 6-month old puppy with 2 broken arms. By the time I got out of there, my pup had two casts on, I was exhausted and had been there for nearly 9 hours! If that weren't bad enough, within a

I spent 7 hours for my dog to be seen and another 1.5 for him to actually be looked at. He has a fracture in his paw and they immediately recommended surgery for the next day. The cost would have been $4-7k. If he needed the surgery it would have been one thing, but he was seen by his normal vet who said not to go the surgery route. After spending 8+ hours at this place, I would swear they try to wear you down to agree to a ridiculously priced procedure just to leave. I got there around 2:25pm and left at 10:40pm. I'm not amused by the reception staff either. They were more concerned

North Star Vets Dr. Monteblano and her assistant Barb are the most incredible physical therapist! 90 degree water treadmill treatments and laser treatments has my dog walking again after having her CCL removed and her knee being re-notched to prevent slipping! I highly recommend these incredible therapists as their care was beyond incredible! My Daisy is walking normally and playing! Thank you!!!!!

Forced to bring my cat here, Because my vet would not see him in case he was blocked. I thought it would be a decent experience as we were triaged quickly and he was brought back very quickly to see if he was blocked. Brought right back out to me, they said the vet didnt think he was blocked, but I had to stay and wait to be seen still. Absolutely worst attitude by front desk staff Priscilla. here for 2 hours already, attempt at getting an update and she acted as if I was bothering her. Her attempt to explain things to me was this statement we operate like a human emergency room

Do not go here expecting your refund in any timely fashion. After multiple calls to their Finance person, Terry Richardson, she was always atrociously rude and not helpful. Refused to give me my refund because "she met her quota". What does that mean?! Give me my money back!
