We hired Tim McGill after searching online for home inspectors and hired him to come and conduct a whole house inspection for us to determine if it qualified for our loan for the purchase of this house. Tim inspected the house from top, from crawling on the roof to searching down to the tiniest crack in the garage floor.

Generally, I will meet you or your agent to let me into the house at the appointed inspection time. Sometimes I am given a lockbox number and let myself in. If I know that the house is unoccupied, I often show up a little early to start on the exterior. I usually find that it works best to do the inspection and then do a walk-and-talk after I'm done, but you are welcome to follow me around as I do the inspection.

Because I put a lot of pictures in my reports, It usually takes me at least two hours to produce a report. I nearly always have the report finished and emailed by the end of the same day of the inspection. Yes, I visually inspect for evidence of WDI and Mold/Mildew and note anything found on the report.
