Let me start by saying this is the FIRST review I've ever written and I've travelled a lot in my 53 years of life. The staff was excellent and very professional during my 3 day stay over the Halloween weekend. The front desk clerks Raven and James were wonderful, helpful, friendly and very professional. Raven even went out her way to fix a small TV issue that I had. I had second thoughts about staying here when I read the reviews but decided to go anyways. For the price, it was well worth it. The only issue was getting to downtown but that was a short walk or Uber drive. All the nonsense I read

Hotel overbooked our reservation in which we had made a month ago and paid in advance. We didn’t find this out until we had arrived with nowhere to stay! The manger could’ve called us in advance but didn’t. The manager argued with us, didn’t apologize for their mistake and didn’t offer a solution in trying to find us another room somewhere else. Worst hotel experience - incredibly unprofessional.

I don’t even want to give them one star…
First of all, when we got there, there was nobody at the front desk and 10mins later the manager showed up saying like “Oh, where’s my coworker?”
Secondly, we were told that they overbooked us and they didn’t do anything about it. How could they overbook us?! We booked over a month ago! And he didn’t even apologize but he started saying that we’re RUDE. …for asking for our room!? They need to hire a better manager. Seriously. Please fire him.
We drove all the way from NM to enjoy Halloween. They ruined our Halloween. This is unbelievable

Very nice older hotel. I met the owners father and son. My room was nice and clean. I slept really well. They make good coffee, they may need to make more, lol.

This is the WORST! hotel I ever stayed in. The lamp not working, TV not working, dirty carpets, no hot water, bed had bugs or ants mattress sunk in pillows too soft no neck support. I thought about going to sleep in my car it was so BAD. This place needs to be shut down this is a joke don't waste your time or money RUN!!! because this is a disaster if you want to sleep comfortably this ain't it and a $90 charge on weekends is a "SCAM" because they know no one will stay the whole stay it's that "BAD" Chase at front desk was great! I would give 3 stars to him he's the BEST part about this whole hotel
