Shane was born and raised in Central Texas and attended Texas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource and Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology. After earning his degree Shane worked in flood data research and mapping to determine flood plains and define flood zones for land owners and home buyers.
