Dr. William Lias is a South Dakota native and is the founder and owner of Interstate Vet Clinic. He attained his undergraduate degree at South Dakota State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University.
He is licensed to practice in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. Interstate Vet Clinic provides quality health care and medical services for horses, dogs and cats. Performance mares can continue competing and transfers can be done around their performance schedule. Fertility of older mares may be impaired, reducing the chances of getting in foal. Embryo transfer is often used to produce foals from these mares and allow the genetic potential of the mares to be continued.

In addition to advanced reproductive health, Interstate Veterinary Clinic offers routine preventative care such as immunizations, deworming, traditional dentistry, wound treatment/repair, and radiology. Our facility features 16 stalls equipped, 8 individual paddocks, heated treatment area, and an indoor arena/exercise area.
