The state of a patient's oral health is connected to their general health. Medical professionals and researchers have studied oral systemic health, which refers to the connection between oral health and overall health, extensively. Ideally, children should first visit a dentist near their first birthday or when their first tooth appears.

This first appointment will consist of a short, gentle examination where one of our dentists will examine your child's mouth. Children with special needs often require extra attention and our team works diligently to ensure their comfort. Depending on your child's unique situation, he or she may be more sensitive than other children to unfamiliar people and places.

Growing up in the foothills of Tennessee, Dr. Tak quickly developed his hand skills in his yearly years by catching crawdads in the wilderness with his bare hands.
