Paul Conrad started the business, committed to providing the community with auto repair and customer service people would be glad to recommend to family and friends.
Today, his daughters, Paula and Denise, along with Russell Goodman, handle all day-to-day operations, including auto diagnostics and repairs. They carry on Paul's tradition of treating customers warmly, while getting them back on the road safely. We're a family business through and through, and we treat each person's vehicle like our own mother is going to be driving it.

Conrad's Transmission Inc. was founded over 40 years ago by Paul Conrad. In 1968, he built a two-stall concrete block building in New Salisbury and began his transmission shop, naming it Conrad's Garage. Believing in hard work and fostering true talent, he gave a job to Ellis Burn, a blind man who was trained in building automatic transmissions but couldn't find a job because of his disability.
