Manhattan Mansions

Founder and President Sam Millliken began catering to homes and offices four decades ago. He always wanted his own special event venue, and after years of searching he found a huge penthouse floor at 80 Fifth Avenue that had been the offices of a Readers Digest division and Byron Binder Bell Architects.

We now have our own three wonderful event venues after four decades of catering to all kinds of places: homes, offices, rented mansions, parks, theaters, Navy ships, yachts, clubs, synagogues, churches, and union halls. Many staff and clients have stayed with us for long periods of time. Every day we do our best, and every year we work to evolve.

Alger House is a refurbished carriage house that provides a charming, intimate setting for events for 25 to 75 guests.
