Dr. Sainsbury has always known a passion and love for animals. When she was only 3 years old her mother was alarmed to find her petting her uncle's bull while he munched on hay; seemingly enjoying the curious toddler talking to him! As a young child, she managed to convince her dad while trick or treating to take a "free puppy" from a house.

All surgical instruments, including needles and syringes are steam autoclaved between all procedures to ensure a fresh set of equipment is used for each and every surgery.For almost every surgery we use an injectable anesthetic followed by an inhalant. While your pet is under anesthesia, we continue to maintain their comfort through the use of a breathing tube - this way, we can ensure that their airway is protected from aspiration or distress.
