Dick Coon Construction is a Limited Liability Company established by Dick Coon in 1992 with sons Matt and Nate and including seven carpenters from his previous partnership of 25 years in Gilligan Brothers, Inc., a building contracting firm. Over the years we have done large projects at Berkshire School and Indian Mountain School and completed a 12,000 square feet private school building for Town Hill School.
We completed a residence with separate garage and studio buildings designed by Peter Rose, CT several years ago. We have also worked with Bartos and Rhodes, Architects of New York on a 6,000 square foot residential project in Lakeville, CT, and recently with Burr and McCallum, Architects of Williamstown on a 5,000 square foot residential in South Egremont, MA.

This custom built home designed by Sam Posey is located in the Northwest corner of Connecticut. Some of its special features include a barrel vault ceiling, custom staircase, and custom cabinetry. The brick chimney and stonework were built by one of our many experienced sub-contractors. This 12,000 square foot private elementary school was built in 1997.
