Hello, my name is Heather and I am so excited to introduce myself as a new Dripping Springs photographer! Established in 2011, I worked in North Carolina for several years before relocating to the beautiful Hill Country in January of 2018. As a gift, my father gave me a camera when pregnant with my first child in 2008 and once the little one was here, I had nothing to do but take pictures of this beautiful, precious new being.

This is truly a dream come true. After five years of being a Raleigh area photographer, my husband and I built a studio on our third floor. It's been exhilirating to plan, pick out flooring, furniture, and design my dream space. It's so extremely functional but pretty too! We opened it a few weeks ago to former clients with a super fun round of bunny sessions and everyone enjoyed the new space.

As a Dripping Springs maternity photographer, the love for maternity portraits has grown out of the passion for newborns. The two go hand-in-hand and it's an honor to provide both stunning fine art images of both baby in belly and baby fresh out! Truly a miracle worth capturing. Maternity sessions are booked between weeks 34-36 of pregnancy in the Austin area of Texas.

Oh, how I love watching my newborn clients grow! It might be my favorite thing about being a Dripping Springs baby photographer. Baby milestone sessions are offered throughout baby's first year (newborn client or not) and are popular at 6-7 months when baby is sitting upright on his own, 8-9 months when baby is crawling but not yet walking, and of course at 12 months to celebrate the big birthday.

For this Dripping Springs family photographer, there is something about shooting into the sun that satisfies my soul. I love light and I love warmth, and what the sunshine offers photos is something I seek regularly in each of my family sessions.
