
Our passion is to provide the highest level of care for food animals. Our practice, with 16 veterinarians, is devoted exclusively to dairy, beef, small ruminants and swine producers. We serve the Central Valley, located in Turlock, California, consisting of four divisions: Lander Veterinary Clinic, Quality Milk Service, Dairy Diagnostics and OPU/Embryo Transfer.
The primary goal of all Lander Veterinary Clinic services is to build a lasting, caring relationship with our producers built on trust and experience. The Quality Milk Service (QMS) division is a full-service vet pharmacy providing prescription drugs and OTC animal health products and meds. Our state-of-the-art laboratory conducts a wide range of certified in-house clinical tests, BioPryn pregnancy diagnosis, and milk quality assessments.

When Dr. Robert "Bob" Harris founded Lander Veterinary Clinic in Turlock, California nearly 70 years ago, milk was selling for $.18 per quart in glass bottles delivered to your house. You could buy a fully equipped John Deere Model 50 farm tractor for less than $1,800. The good old days! Since those days, the legacy of Dr. Harris has been a thriving veterinary practice built on the primacy of family life as a core value.

The Lander Veterinary Clinic's QMS division can be considered a full-service vet pharmacy for clients - provided a valid working relationship has been established with our veterinary doctors and their patients. We commonly work with producers to establish sound pharmaceutical practices on individual animals and the herd.
