In 1953, Raymond R. Raisian founded the Raisian Funeral Home. For 30 years Raymond served families in Northeast Ohio providing them with true care and compassion. Joe, Raymond's son, joined the family business in 1983 and continues to give families a sense of comfort only a family business can provide, as it has since it began.
Our Staff
Report
Joe is a 1977 graduate of Conneaut High School. He went on to study at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated cum laude in 1983. He returned to his home town and mentored under his father and funeral home founder, Raymond R. Raisian. An avid golfer, motorcycle enthusiast and Lake Erie boater; Joe is very involved in his community, serving on various boards within the churches and the City of Conneaut.

Years ago, Funeral Services were two to three days long and usually very tiresome and emotionally difficult. Today, there are many choices for families to best fit their needs. One to two days of calling hours with varying hours of visitation, same day Funeral Service with visitation, graveside services, or direct burials are some of the many choices for families today.
Cremations Services

The Raisian Family Funeral Home offers families many choices when it comes to selecting cremation services. We utilize the latest in crematory retorts. In the spring of 1999, the Raisian Family Funeral Home along with the Family Care Group, built its own crematory to serve the needs of families in Northeast Ohio.
